BANJALUKA – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik told SRNA that an art installation put up in Sarajevo is shameful and insulting and that it is but another proof that BiH is an absolutely unsustainable country.
“To do something like that on a day when we in Republika Srpska are paying our respects to 3,500 Serbs killed around Srebrenica and Bratunac is horrific, shameful and scandalous. This represents a continued crime, the crime which has not stopped even 20 years since the end of the war, and I consider the shameful silence by IC representatives, who do not show even a minimum respect for Serbian victims, as complicity to the crime,” Dodik said.
He said that those who are doing such things, as well as those who are allowing them by keeping silent about them, are calling for a dissolution of BiH and are directly working on it.
“Of course, I have nothing against a dissolution of BiH, but I must remind them that with the Dayton Agreement, Republika Srpska got international recognition, but also recognition from the leadership of the then so-called BiH. This leadership does not particularly interest us, particularly because, unlike Republika Srpska, the then so-called BiH was annulled forever by the Dayton Agreement,” Dodik has said.
He told SRNA that those who are constantly talking about coexistence must know that by keeping silent about such incidents they are working against coexistence.
“It seems that the measure of their coexistence is 2.5% to which they reduced Serbs in the FBiH. Obviously, this does not represent a problem to either them or the IC. I must tell them that we in Republika Srpska will never allow them this and that Srpska will always protect all its citizens and take care of them,” Dodik said.
An art installation was put up yesterday in Sarajevo, a map of Republika Srpska depicting mass graves. “Welcome to Republika Srpska” was written alongside the map, and the authors say that their goal was to “show the way Republika Srpska was created.”
