Banjaluka – According to Sinisa Karan, the chairman of the electoral commission in charge of conducting the referendum on the Day of Republika Srpska, 677,721 people or 99.81 percent gave an affirmative answer to the question “Do you support the marking and celebration of January 9 as the Day of Republika Srpska?”
A negative reply was given by 1,291 citizens of 0.19 percent.
The total of 680,116 people or 55.77 percent of eligible voters went to the pools on Sunday.
Karan said there were 1,885 polling stations in Republika Srpska and 27 abroad.
