Doboj – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that in addition to money, Srpska needs great solidarity as well to repair the damage done by flooding, a great misfortune which befell Srpska and its population.
“The misfortune is great, as is the material damage. We now need not only money, but solidarity as well, which today is being demonstrated by students’ organisations,” Dodik told reporters in Doboj where he is attending a great drive to clear flooded buildings, in which students of Istocno Sarajevo and Banjaluka Universities are taking part.
Dodik said that it is of extreme importance that this drive was organised by students, which indicates their increased awareness and responsibility for the community and solidarity, which they are ready to demonstrate in the difficult times.
“This is the best proof of how one loves one’s city and Srpska,” Dodik said and thanked students’ organisations for everything they have done so far in assisting areas affected by floods in Srpska.
