Ivanic: Population census results need to be revised

BANJALUKA – The Republika Srpska member of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanic, said today that the results of the BiH population census are not correct and relevant and that they should be revised.
“We all in BiH know that the results of this population census are not correct and relevant. We turned the population census into politics, which should not have been done,” Ivanic said at a press conference in Banjaluka.

Ivanic said that he offered a compromise which was not accepted by the FBiH, particularly by the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic.

He said that BiH cannot function in keeping with the system of outvoting and that it can function only in keeping with a compromise and agreement.

Commenting on yesterday’s visit by the members of the BiH Presidency to Germany, Ivanic said that he was very satisfied since German Chancellor Angela Merkel has a balanced approach to BiH.

He stressed that Republika Srpska is not impeding the BiH’s European road, which was visible during the visit to Germany as well.
