Banjaluka – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said on Wednesday that the only thing left to Republika Srpska is to exclude the FBiH from the Southern Stream project, including all the rights and obligations pertaining thereto, which issue Srpska and Russia are presently considering. Dodik said at a press conference in Banjaluka that when this issue is agreed, the appropriate decision will be forwarded to the BiH Council of Ministers.
He said that when this happens – an agreement pertaining exclusively to Republika Srpska – then people from the FBiH in joint BiH institutions should not have anything against it.
“We have the official FBiH position that they want to be included in the Southern Stream project, and on the basis of such a position we negotiated with the Russians, and when agreement was reached, which should have received approval from the BiH Council of Ministers, the FBiH said they do not want to take part in this project. We now have to reduce this agreement exclusively to the rights and obligations of Republika Srpska. That is what we are doing these days,” Dodik explained. (TSN)
